Founded in 1995, Deerfield.com began as an electronic software publisher, delivering software applications that fit the needs and budgetary requirements of Small to Medium sized businesses (SMB's). Deerfield began distributing email server software through a vast network of channel partners in 1997, and has amassed a core competency in messaging solutions, particularly in the advancement of antispam technologies and best practices. With an intimate understanding of the value of electronic communications and the immediate ROI required by SMB’s when they invest in technology, Deerfield has fostered a messaging suite that meets the requirements of SMB’s, but also scales to large enterprise and ISP/ASP markets.
In the spring of 2001 Deerfield.com partnered with IceWarp Technologies to create VisNetic MailServer, an OEM version of IceWarp’s Merak MailServer. Deerfield successfully distributed and supported VisNetic MailServer through the summer of 2009. In parallel, Deerfield also deployed IceWarp technology to provide carrier-grade email service to their DNS2Go Email Routing customers. Having relied upon IceWarp products in house for nearly 10 years, and with several carrier grade service provider customers in the field, Deerfield.com’s contributions extended to providing IceWarp with invaluable Quality Assurance testing, feedback and development counsel through the years. A benefit of these efforts is that Deerfield not only understands IceWarp Server from the full spectrum of deployments, but they also understand how the software works “under the hood”. This knowledge allows Deerfield to instill a high level of confidence in IceWarp Server partners and customers, knowing that they are in good hands, as Deerfield is highly qualified to represent IceWarp Server.
Over the course of time, VisNetic MailServer and IceWarp’s Merak Mail Server development paths converged as a result of the collaboration of the parties; it is then that they both decided it was time to join the best of the products together into a single product and vision; the end result is IceWarp v10. Deerfield.com is now the lead IceWarp Mail Server Distributor in the US. As one of the longest tenured IceWarp partners, and with a staff that is fully trained and proficient in IceWarp products, Deerfield is ideally suited to service and support IceWarp end users and resellers .
